Sharon has been a member of UASB since the beginning helping members to formulate its vision and purpose.

Sharon Phillips is an expressive artist whose work ranges from figurative to abstract. She use a variety of mediums, techniques, and styles to capture the essence of her subjects. 

Sharon uses her art to explore, reflect on and appreciate many aspects of her life.  She is currently investigating themes of connections, restrictions and boundaries, cultural, relational, work, and personal, through recurring motifs of boxes and circles. Her love of nature and travel is clear in her vibrant abstracted landscapes and still life.  Portraiture remains a significant part of her practice and undertakes regular commissions. Her art has been shown in exhibitions at Ikon Gallery, RBSA, MAC, Seventh Circle Gallery and several regional art groups including UASB.
