UASB at Kings Heath ArtsFest 2025 - Bank Holiday Reflections
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend (May 3rd–5th), UASB proudly took part in the first-ever Kings Heath ArtsFest, presenting our biggest group exhibition to date. With 44 artists taking part, the exhibition showcased a vibrant and diverse collection of painting, photography, textiles, and mixed media from across our creative community.
Held at All Saints as part of the wider ArtsFest celebrations, the exhibition welcomed hundreds of visitors across the three days. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with artists connecting not only with the public but with each other—offering encouragement, building friendships, and celebrating each other’s work.
The feedback during the weekend was incredibly positive, with many people praising the quality, inclusivity, and energy of the show. A huge thank you to all the exhibiting artists, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring the space to life.
This event was part of the newly launched Kings Heath ArtsFest, supported by the Youth Investment Fund, Enjoy Kings Heath, and BIMM University. With live music, creative workshops, and a true community buzz, it set the tone for future events that will continue to celebrate local talent and collaboration.
